Jamie Thomas Skateboarder. Jamie Thomas is one of the greatest skateboarders known to existence. He started skating at the age of 11 and grew up in Dothan Alabama. Thomas is also known as The Cheif, and his sponsors are; Fallen, Zero, and Thunder. He moved to San Fransisco and then to Southern Cali where he lived on the streets for a while. Jamie is well known for his burly gaps, roof gaps, and The Leap of Faith! Lately his skating has gotten more technical than burly but the man can still toss a carcass consistantly. He is the owner and president of Black Box Distribution which is the parent company of Zero Skateboards. He is also the owner of Fallen Footwear, and received a regional Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2006 by Ernst & Young. Thomas has been in 5 video games and is married to Joanne Thomas and has 3 children; Julien Tiger, James Ruby, and Maximus Trey. They reside in Encinitas CA. Jamie is also a christian, which is where most of the ideas for his board graphics come from. He has been in 16 videos and in the process of the new Zero video, Strange World. Thomas even has a song writen about him called Jamie Thomas from the former Blur guitarist, Graham Coxon.
