Rick Mccrank Skateboarder. Rick Mccrank is a long time street skater and a well known face in the skateboard industry. Rick started skating in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada at age 11 in 1987. As he progressed, Mccrank wasn’t even aware of the fame of skateboarding, including AMs, pro’s, or even trick names, he skated for fun and that was it. His spoonsors are; Girl, Es Footwear, Matix, Thunder, Anti-social, Swiss, Momentum, and Nixon. Mccrank was finally getting noticed when Colin Mckay recruited him on Plan B, then to Birdhouse, and to Girl skateboards wheere he’s been ever since in 1998. Es picked him up in 1999 and he’s still there. He has designed 5 shoes on Es Footwear. Rick is the owner of Momentum Wheels, and Co-owner of a skate shop/art gallery called Anti-social in Vancouver. He has a daughter named Kalea, is a vegitarian, and spends his free time, surfing, snowboarding, or golfing. He currently resides in Vancouver B.C.
