Andy Macdonald Skateboarder. Andy Macdonald is a veteran skateboarder when it comes down to it. He’s been since the beginning with the best of them. He started skating in 1986, started competing in 1994 and went pro in 1996. Andy is married to his wife Rebecca Macdonald and has a Lab named Nishi. His sponsors are; AndyMac Skateboards, SoBe, Airwalk, and Flybar. Andy’s hometown is San Diego California, where he spends 6 hours a day or more on his skateboard, which is more than any other professional known to so far. Macdonalds signature trick is the Benihana, which is actually the silhouette on the SoBe bottle and many other things. He is one of the smoothest vert skaters, known not to go insanely huge with tricks but super consistant. Andy grew up playing all high school sports until skateboarding came along which took over completely.
