I can remember the afternoon perfectly.I had session my parking curb in the driveway for a few hours you know just getting crazy working on my stalls and stuff when I decided I would do some maintence on my beat up Hensley deck. In reality it wasn’t really beat up at all. I was like 10 years old and the thing had rails on it. Sorry, one rail. So the precious graphic was still in pretty good shape. Being a kid I never thought of the future of skateboarding. So that day with no hesitation I took my dad’s palm sander and sanded that graphic right off completely making myself a new deck. Only years later to realize that this skateboarding stuff is history in the making or something like that.
