Guy Mariano, born in 1977, is looked upon as one of the best skateboarders of all time. He was first recognized at the age of 14 in his part in Video Days back in 1991. He also co founded the truck company Royal with Rudy Johnson in 1997. In 2005 he had a 14 page article in Thrasher magazine. His sponsors include or included Girl Skateboards, Royal Trucks, Fourstar Clothing, Lakai Footwear, Spitfire Wheels, and more. Mariano also had one of the most famous parts in the Lakai video “Fully Flared”. He has recieved many awards from Transworld skateboarding such as Best Video Part, Best Street Skater, and Readers Choice.
