I know, I’m a couple days late with part two…. You raise a child full time and try to get things done.

After skating the Orange Grove pool we headed east to the mexi pool. I love the people’s excuses why they don’t want you to skate their pool. The best one is that they say they are going to fix it up soon. Doesn’t the photo above look like a pool that’s about to get fixed up?

Brian Jarosh, Frontside grind

The mexi pool is good. No light on the face wall. Great surface, good tranny’s and no hassles. Too bad it’s out in the middle of nowhere. But then again if it was here in San Diego it would be blown out now wouldn’t it?

Kyle Gallahger, frontside grinds all the time

Cobra, backside ollie

Looks like he’s just backside grinding huh? Yeah I know, I kind of fucked up the photo but if you look closer or pretend then you can see he’s snapping a good backside ollie.

Sizar, sidewall frontside air

Sorry, I only hung out with Sizar once so maybe I am spelling his name wrong.

Brian Jarosh, backside tailslide

How are your backside tail slides coming along on the mini ramp at your local shitty cookie cutter prefabricated disaster of a skate park coming along? Brian avoids that bullshit and takes them to the backyard.

After we skated the Mexi pool we drove out to Palm Springs and luckily by chance we had some friends from Colorado staying at a motel for the night. They put us up and we kinda blew it out. But come on! This is Palm Springs. The people are jacked here. We saw an ad that said you could rent rims for your car. In the morning I woke up on the floor to see this: Jamie Weller on a good one. Probably 5 Mimosa’s deep.

Jamie Weller, frontside tailslide

What’s funny is the guy that drank the most also skated the most and the best. By the time we got to the Salton Sea everyone was hagged. I even heard Kike say this is the most hungover he’s ever felt. And he doesn’t even drink!

WTF?

Xander Dunlap, Backside smith grind

Xander wasn’t feeling too bad himself and started trying these backside smith grinds. Out of nowhere this chick walked up asking us if we had some jumper cables. Everyone was kind of dumbfounded and said no. Jamie asked what she was doing and she said her friends and herself were filming a movie down the way? We all were wondering the same thing….. What kind of movie?

Kyle and Brian were eager to see this so called movie and went to scope it out.

Not exactly what we were expecting.

” Our my boobs big enough? “

uh huh

Bored with the movie set we went back up to the pool only to randomly run into our friend Brendan Klein. He was out their with some people from his school. Pretty random. We skated a little bit more. Checked out the artwork on the pool that said Darren Navertte cant grind and headed back to Oceanside.

THE END

Friends, Jamie Weller and Xander Dunlap flew down from the Northwest to get out of the rain a while back and stayed here in San Diego with me. Aren’t you jealous? So for a few days we skated stuff around here in Oceanside but quickly became bored. I wonder why? Maybe it’s because I’ve been skating the same crusty spots since I was 9 years old? Well, Jamie isn’t one to sit around o’side and take bongers all day. You could say he is definitely not part of the couch crew if you know what I mean? With nothing new to skate around here idea’s were being had to what we should do with the weekend approaching us. I’m not sure who mentioned it, maybe it was Kyle? but someone came up with the idea to head east. Where you might be wondering? I’ll just say it’s the desert. If you know then you know. If not, then keep Searching…

EXTREME STREET WALKING BACK SMITH!

Jamie Weller, blunt slide attempt, Oceanside, California

The first day in town Xander and Jamie were ready to skate. I’m speaking for these guys and myself, just because we skate tranny more than anything else doesn’t mean we don’t like street. I cant stand narrow minded one track mind tools who only do one thing. I grew up skating steet and now most of the time I’d rather just not push when I skate. But then again at the same time if I just flow around for too long it feels damn good to go back to pushing down the street. I’m not a pool skater. I’m not a ditch skater, I’m not a ramp skater or a street skater. I just skate. And so do these doosh bags….. Enough of the sentimental jibber jabber. Jamie had these blunt slides on lock but just couldn’t land then on the pop out. I swore the next try or so he would ride away. Well I guess I thought wrong. Jamie jamed his upper leg right into the side the ledge. It wasn’t cool.

You gotta pay to play.

Pep Talk

Xander with a sinus Infection

Jamie Weller about to drop some pole

Before we left town I took Jamie and Xander to this retarded pole jam. Just for the record, come to Oceanside. If you want to try to jam this thing I will take you to it…. Shit I’ll pay you 50 bucks if you got it. No one wants any part of this thing. It hasn’t been attempted. Pretty gnarly charlie. Come on. Show me what’s up?

Xander Dunlapp riding some pole

Kyle Gallahger- layback grind- Orange Grove Pool

This was our first stop out of Oceanside. The Orange grove pool is too good. Stairs are a go both ways. Good tranny’s and pretty much hassle free. What else do you want you little complaining bitch!

Brian Jarosh, Backside disaster, Orange grove pool

When you hang up on a disaster it can be very disastrous. Especially in a back yard pool. Luckily Brian had no difficulties with doing these back d’s all session. How lame is that caption?

Jamie Weller, Lien to tail, Orange Grove pill

” oh my god we cant run this photo in the magazine because his foot is not on the tail “

Blunt to fakie in a pool?

More to come. Desert gone wild part 2 tomorrow…..
