Skating Toledo was a blast until I blasted my already blasted hip. You see, I stacked on my hip a few days before hand at the park in Donald Oregon and pretty much sealed the deal  at Toledo when I slammed on a grind in the hot pocket. But it really ended with a front side pivot to unknown reasons paddy haggard super stack at Siletz. Speaking of Siletz. This is the Siletz skate park. Check it out.

It doesn’t hurt there. Or there. But right there.

Luckily I got hooked up with some Medicinal magic home grown and felt better instantly.

Jamie had to get back to work on Monday so it was time to head back to P town. The quick coast trip was already over. Before leaving the coast we stopped by Traci’s VT spot and pretty just sat there and drank a beer  since no one had it in them to really skate anymore. Especially me cause my hip hurts.

Another north west trip? You better believe it. What? You don’t like it up there in the land of concrete and trees? Everyone talks about taking trips to California. Well if you didn’t know it sucks balls here…. Skate park wise at least. But I guess we do have great weather. Weeeeeeeeeeee! Sun shine! But if your looking for something other than nice weather. I suggest heading to the North West. And for all you North West protectors crying right now. Dont worry. Your scene is already blown out….  Here’s the first part of maybe three of the Oceanside chapter north west TERROR tour….

WU WELLER: From one bridge to another straight off the airplane and we headed straight to Burnside to meet up with Portland chapter member Jamie Weller. Here he is demonstrating a proper low to high free lunch ollie.

RYAN WILLIAMS: Ryan was hungry for some free lunch and got in on the meal himself. This is not just a flying butt shot. It’s also a lien air.

JAMIE WELLER: yeah I know, you probably all ready seen this photo before. I’m just going with the flow and putting the photos in the order they were taken. Blunt to fakie on this is no joke. The run up is rough as fuck. Most people would give up after a couple tries. Luckily for me Jamie pulled it within a few tries before my beer got warm.

SPERM ART: After a full day under the bridge we headed back to Jamie’s house. This is Sperms gift to Davey. Who says board graphics suck these days?

I’ve been putting this off for a while now. I cant take it any more. It’s time. I have nothing organized properly. Photos are everywhere on my computer. Ask anyone who has ever asked me for a specific photo. It takes me days, sometimes even weeks to find certain photos. You can forget about trying to come over and just pick up a photo from me. But that is all about to change. I finally started categorizing everything. Here’s some hard drive randoms…

Nollan Helmstetter was trying to warm up with a ollie down this double set. That wasn’t working out. Wasting no time he went straight to hucking himself with a much harder trick. That didn’t work out really either. So pretty much your looking at a bail shot. I think he had it though.

I hate when I forget somones name. But how often do you remember someones name after only meeting them one time. Homeboy with a ollie up to nose slide 270 out. Seriously though forgetting names suck.

My kid’s a handful. Amazing, but a handful. Not in a bad way, just in a 9 month old baby way. All over the place. So with my little bit of time today away from feedings, diapers, naps and all that rad dad stuff I decided to just grab a few discs and pick out some random photos…..

New York City Nomad: This guy is homeless because he wants to. Not because he’s a drunk or a junkie and is forced to live on the streets to get a fix, but because he just wants to cruise and doesn’t like how today’s society is. Simply, he just doesn’t want to conform to the every day bullshit rat race so he chooses to live the life of the streets. And he’ll be asking you who’s the one “struggling”? …

Dominick Johnson, Jefferson Middle school: This school is right down the street from my house. It’s also the school where my friend Brendan Klein got all his photo equipment jacked. Luckily this day there weren’t any problems and I managed to shoot a couple photos of Dom doing some back smiths…

Luke, WSVT: Average day at the park 4 years ago or so. For the clueless, you wouldn’t even recognize Luke from this photo these days….

San Diego Zoo: Yeah, these creatures that aren’t related to humans what so ever are pretty smart. They put their sticks into these holes and wait for the ants to load up on it. After that they got a meal to grub down on. Pretty cool to watch, but come on….. we’re special, we’re humans…..

My dog, Ollie: The best dog ever! Of course right? Every one’s dog is the best dog. But seriously, Ollie is one of a kind.

Fred Tiblin, Mammoth lakes, California: Old friend Fred doing a lipslide at the Wave Rave mini ramp. Every Spring this park would be constructed and then torn down in the Fall. Now the town has a Grindline park. And people still complain. Go figure….

Sperm, Firepools, San Bernardino, California: Such a ridiculous amount of pools to skate when those fires destroyed alot of homes in San Bernardino a few years back. I remember someone telling me to be careful because that’s “Salba land”. Gimme a fucking break! Here’s Sperm with a tail block .

JC Hargis, Pala pool: I remember when this pool used to be fun to skate. I mean, we actually used to look forward to skating it instead of dreading the goon parties. We used to light it up once a week usually on Wednesday’s night and it was great. Super low key, just a few friends and a few hours of some grinds and laughs……. Listen to me getting all sentimental about the pala pool. Then it just got blown out so hard……Random kooks coming to just hang out and poach beers and stand on the deck. I begun to despise this place. Hate on me all you want, But I was and still am stoked this pool is buried…….
