A good friend of mine JC is about to take the plunge and tie the knot with his lady. With the midget stripper bachelor party not happening we had to think of something for our bud to do with his last few days of freedumb. So what did we do? Drank heavily, skated a private bowl and got our camp on. The Standard operation.

At 23 years old going on 43 Kyle’s getting shit done. Building rad stuff all over the country to skate and skating the shit like no other. He can talk shit because he can back it up. I mean look at this bowl he built. The thing is tits! Well the session was on and Kyle decided to finally put the hand plant down.

After skating we headed to the camp site for a shit talkin, beer drinkin, hot dog eatin good ol time. What else do you want? Midget strippers maybe?

Poor JC. This trip was for him and He got broke off in the first 40 min of the session at the bowl. It really sucked. Everyone felt really bad but what can you do. At least it wasn’t the beginning of a 30 day long trip or anything. Oh wait marriage is for life and this is going to be the how JC starts his life as a married man. Limping down the aisle! Anyone looking to buy a Tony Hawk original bottle nose in mint condition? JC said he wants to sell it to get more fishing gear…

This pool is in the neighborhood I grew up in. I’ve looked at it for 12 years or so and figured it would never happen. Always full. Always clean. Pretty much a lost cause I thought. Still the possibility is always there and this thing is the shizzznit. So you could understant I couldn’t resist checking on it time by time. Neither could some of my friends and finally it happend.

A friend drove by one day and noticed some construction going on in the backyard. Guess the oweners wanted to resurface the pool and put in a new patio. Pefect! A little negotiating with the owner and it was on. We could skate, just as long as we liked that one guy named Jesus.

So we were able to skate it for a few weeks during the construction and it was over. Filled back up and most likely unskateble forever. Those couple of weeks were great……Lurking in South O finally paid off. Thanks Jesus.

Oh yeah, JC (not jesus christ) but John Charles grinds one more time on his lunch break.
