Lakes are a important necessity to any road trip. Especially a skate one. In a few days with out a rinse you end up with swamp butt and trench foot. Up in Washington the lakes are plentiful so that kinda shit doesn’t happen.

Damn, two weeks in a row of Potato head getting denied on tricks. I remember this day. It was hot as hell. Trying to   at the bottom of the handrail with the fish eye like everyone else wasn’t happening. Asphalt would just scorch you. I really could of used the Atiba Jefferson signature photo blanky.

So why would they throw a fit over us skateboarding the tree? They dont. Unlike the uptight rich white folk in Leucadia that have nothing better to do then get in your business because your doing something that is illegal. Yes skateboarding is illegal.

Across the street at the bar Bub’s Whiskey dive (that doesn’t serve whiskey) (makes sense right?)  having a couple pitchers of beer Scotty was hyping up this ollie. We finished our beers and went over to the set and Scotty got a couple of tries before the cities finest stopped us.

Scotty rips everything. Who else ollies down a 11 stair with 61mm wheels and a 8 1/2 wide deck.

Don’t you know you cant skateboard on public property in Oceanside? What’s funny is these piggies are about the same age as me and Scotty but have no clue about enjoying life. They cant figure it out why we still skateboard. That was the best quote all day. You guys are still riding those toys? Too funny. Luckily Scotty gave them bogus info and didn’t get a ticket. So after we were rolled for illegal activities we went and did something legal. Getting Blitzed in the bar. God bless America.

Ever hear of diverticulosis disease? Well I just found out I got it. I have been having this serious pain in my lower left side of my stomach since Sunday. Pretty much feels like there is a knife stabbing me or something. I couldn’t hang anymore just waiting for the pain to go away on it’s own so I went to the doctor yesterday and ended up spending 9 hours at the hospital. They did blood work, piss test, a cat-scan, pretty much the whole 9 yards. Luckily I have insurance thanks to my wife’s job so I wasn’t really stressing on the bill. i cant imagine if I didn’t have insurance. Most likely wouldn’t of gone. Anyways, I was more stressed on wondering what the hell is wrong with me and why wont this knife pain go away. After the ct scan and 4 hours later waiting for the results I found out I have this old man stomach condition diverticulosis. It’s not life threatening but never the less still pretty serious and it will never go away I guess. Pretty awesome huh? So for the time being here’s some randoms for the week. Hopefully you can read this and I haven’t posted any of these photos before. You will have to excuse me. I’m a little doped up on pain meds… -Brooks

I’ve been putting this off for a while now. I cant take it any more. It’s time. I have nothing organized properly. Photos are everywhere on my computer. Ask anyone who has ever asked me for a specific photo. It takes me days, sometimes even weeks to find certain photos. You can forget about trying to come over and just pick up a photo from me. But that is all about to change. I finally started categorizing everything. Here’s some hard drive randoms…

Nollan Helmstetter was trying to warm up with a ollie down this double set. That wasn’t working out. Wasting no time he went straight to hucking himself with a much harder trick. That didn’t work out really either. So pretty much your looking at a bail shot. I think he had it though.

I hate when I forget somones name. But how often do you remember someones name after only meeting them one time. Homeboy with a ollie up to nose slide 270 out. Seriously though forgetting names suck.
