With the weekend Shrunken Head Seattle trip coming to an end at Dick’s Burgers it was time to head back to Portland Oregon since most of the “athlete’s” had to work the next morning. Not me though. Cause i’m a photo goon. Everyday is work for the goon. Or more like possible work. I have no life of my own. My life consist of waiting anxiously by the phone waiting for that call so I can go document someone else’s life with my big fancy camera. I’m just kidding. Well kind of. So the Shrunken Head van was done and now it was time to figure out something else to do with the time I had remaining. Jamie had a few days left of work for the week and mentioned I could come up to his work at Windell’s. Ive said it before but I will just say it again. Jamie has been working at Windell’s quite a while now and pretty much can take credit for all the rad shit they have to skate there. Of course Jamie didn’t invent the creation of the half pipe or the physics of the wheel or anything like that but he his building stuff that I guess you could call out of the box? Maybe he got sick of me always bitching about how most of the parks are a joke and need to be more like marble madness. We have been going back and forth way too long. Or even the standard figure eights in pools. The time is now for concrete motocross track mogul slingshot marble madness rally race track skate parks.
Are you following me?

Jamie runs that shit.

Before heading to the shred zone we stopped by the coaches living quarters which is down the road from where all the campers stay. Skateboard coaches that is. Hence the sign.

Not too bad. Old Motel converted into the Coaches snow and skate bro living quarters.

They also have a killer pond right behind the living quarters but who cares about that. Who likes fishing?

Oh snapps foo.. Spotted the REV CLOUD. Revolution Represent. ahh yeahhhrrr

Jamie said if I hurried up I could still make it to breakfast time. Not too shabby.

You know the camp food cant be too bad when the coaches will eat it. But then again this is Jamie Weller.

Some of the outside features. Sorry these photos aren’t that great. My camera decided to start doing weird things this day. I lost quite a few photos off my memory card and ended up with these scraps. I figured it’s better then nothing. Good ol digi sometimes can backfire on yah. Note to self: make sure your memory cards aren’t too old. But seriously. Jamie has made this place really fun to skate. These photos give it no justice.

They also got a foam pit so you can take your rodeos from the snow to the concrete!

The Campers were hyped when they got to watch the Jivaro wheels dudes shred during a low key demo. There were no megaphones or any product tosses. Just some quality skateboard riding by some shit heads.

What? You think this is funny?
Me and Jamie caught Mike R&D testing for new Jivaro urethane.

Now this is what I call funny. I thought the 90’s with the big pants, big shirts and little wheels was bad. This takes the cake. If you’re around this stuff all the time then I guess you get numb to it it’s no big deal but I had never seen or heard of these tall T things before. If you dont know what I am talking about then use the photos above and below for reference. I’m not sure if it’s a skier thing or snowboard thing but I was cracking up when I saw these kids wearing moo moos everywhere. If they think they are on to some next level shit they got something coming. Homer was rocking the tall T’s years ago!

Have a good weekend, week. day, hour, minute, and life. All hail to the tall T! -Brooks
